Director/Co-Writer
António Sequeira has been directing short films since the early age of 8. In 2012, he attended a 3-week summer workshop in Los Angeles at the New York Film Academy and in 2013 he wrote and directed his first feature film, which was screened to a sold out premiere crowd. He went to study the craft of filmmaking to London and after producing and directing multiple projects that were selected to a few film festivals, including BFI Future Film Festival and TopShorts, he received a scholarship from Creative Skillset to study an MA in London Film School, where he has continued to develop his skills as a filmmaker and as a person. His latest short film "Danke" has been nominated for a few awards, including among others, Best Drama at the Genre Celebration Film Festival, Best Student Film and Best Cinematography at UK Offline Film Fest and Best Director at Cin'Euphoria National Awards. The short film has also been sold to an online streaming service, “Festiflix”.

Creative Producer
Sabina Juncu is an enthusiastic Entrepreneur since 2016, with advertising background. Former Account Director with industry experience in managing digital creative projects. After several years in the industry, she decided to start her own creative consultancy boutique. As brand consultant, her clients' profiles are very diverse: from enthusiastic start-ups, to big agencies, to strong brands, experimenting different markets like London, Bucharest, Rome. Used to working with brands like Pelicam International Film Festival, Telekom, Greevillage Resort, Beck's, Staropramen, Corona, Napolact, Spellground Festival, Ad Garage and some more.

Director of Photography
Anastasiia Vorotniuk has studied and practiced a wide variety of subjects ranging from Acting, to Philosophy, to Photography, to Dancing and Directing, making her a very volatile Cinematographer, with an artistic vision that is very unique and peculiar, which is exactly what “A Son Like Others” needs. One of her projects, “Germophobia” is a Semi-Finalist in ScreenCraft Film Fund. She has also directed “Five Minutes”, “Baggage”, “Hot Milk” and “Gymnastics, with Love”, a documentary soon to be released showcasing the differences in the approach to teaching gymnastics to kids in Ukraine and the “Western World”. She has lent her unique cinematographic style to short films like “Sacrifice”, “Good fellas” and “Have a nice day!”, being recently chosen to be the cinematographer of “Artificial Bid”.

Scientific Supervisors
Carlos Sequeira is a coordinator teacher at the Superior School of Nursing of Porto and main Investigator of the Research group NursID in CINTESIS. Pos-Doctorate in Positive Mental Health; PhD in Sciences of Nursing. He has done more than 60 scientific articles published in scientific magazines with an impact about this and other topics and he has summarized much of his knowledge in 3 of the 16 works he has already published: “Cuidar de Idosos Dependentes” (2007), “Cuidar de Idosos com Dependência Física e Mental” (2007) and “Comunicação Clínica e Relação de Ajuda” (2016). Another area of investigation of his is Mental Health in youngsters, being developing a program of positive mental health to this group of the population.

José Carlos Carvalho is a member of NursID of CINTESIS, in the Superior School of Nursing of Porto, where he is Assistant Teacher at. He concluded his Doctorate in Sciences of Nursing by the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar of the University of Porto. With a specialization in Mental Health Nursing, he worked in São João Hospital in the Hospital Centre of Vila Nova de Gaia and in the IPO of Porto. He is a funding member of the Portuguese Society of Mental Health Nursing and a member of the Research Core "Teaching, Creativity and Caring in Health and Nursing" of the University Federal Fluminense (UFF), in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. He is also an author of various scientific articles published in specialized magazines and chapters of books.
